It used to be that if a person wanted a pair of Sneakers they went down to the local shoe store and picked one out from the relatively small selection that the store had to offer. That is not the case today. A trip to the sporting goods store will give a person a lot of choices when it comes to finding athletic shoes. There are shoes that are made for running or shoes that are made for playing basketball in. They have names such as cross training shoes or some other special name. Many of the shoes are not even supposed to be used for athletic purposes. They are made to be worn like any other pair of shoes that a person has and can be seen at all types of events from informal gatherings to the most formal affairs. The days of a person wearing a simple pair of sneakers is long gone and no one is looking back.
